"The Whitest Abyss" is the 3rd and last installment in the 'Last Arrival' series, and the end of the Glasscutter moniker. Though perhaps a little disjointed and varied in terms of recording quality, this is a brutally emotional collection of songs for me. Largely stripped down, defeated, and quiet, this is a wintry album of awkward and pained performances, including a fair bit more guitar and piano than I typically do.
